A memorial service for economics professor Bernard Saffran will be held tomorrow at the Swarthmore Friends Meeting House at 4 pm.
The service will feature a number of speakers, including College President Al Bloom, according to Vice President Maurice Eldridge ’61.
After these speakers there will be an opportunity for anyone who wishes to speak as well.
Except for the speakers who will open the memorial, “is very similar to the way a Quaker Meeting would happen,” Eldridge said. After the service a reception is planned to be held in the Whittier Room.
